MISSION STATEMENT :

Unique Art Fund is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization that utilizes Public Art as an instrument to empower, heal, educate and beautify underserved communities in the State of California.

We partner with City Governments, Public Schools, Local Organizations to identify locations that can be directly impacted by the transforming power of public art murals and sculptures.

We are a passionate group of artists that dream on a more beautiful and equitable world for all. We are aware of the power of the arts to heal and connect disfranchised communities. We want to bring joy to communities across California one mural at the time .

We aim to :

BEAUTIFY communities through mural painting, from Schools,
Recreational Centers, Libraries, Run down Buildings to commercial
murals that will assist small local businesses in increasing visibility.
INSPIRE dialogue, community participation and civic involvement.
All civic spaces can thrive when individuals actively participate in
improving their communities.
EDUCATE: we believe transmitting our vision, passion and skills
can create wonderful educational and future job placements
opportunities for children, youth and adults alike.

Meet Dary Rees

The founder of Unique Art and Design Gallery has 25 years of experience working in the art and design business in New York City, South Florida and Los Angeles.

She was the founder of Very Venice Art Community and Gallery in Los Angeles, a 3,000-square-foot space where she launched and collaborated with over 300 artists.

Dary has a vast experience launching community-based projects and has won various awards and recognitions, including publicity worldwide for her successful business ventures.

She was a consultant and speaker at the United Nations, where she supported national and International women’s programs, creating liaisons between Corporate America and the non-profit sector.

Received the Athena Award for assisting and supporting large groups of women in Miami.

She has launched a 501(c)(3) organization, the "Unique Art Fund," because she believes in the powerful impact that Public Art has in our communities.
